NamPower Strengthens Learning at Didimika Private School
Didimika Private School, formerly known as Thikusho Veronica Pre-Primary School, was established in 1995 in a highly marginalised community located within an informal settlement in Rundu, Kavango East. Operating from two small zinc-roofed structures and a verandah used as a teaching area, the school currently employs seven teachers and serves 120 learners from Grade 0 to Grade 3.
The school approached the NamPower Foundation for support in constructing an additional classroom. This request was approved, and the new classroom—valued at N$341,077—has been completed and was officially handed over on 2 December 2025.
NamPower remains committed to investing in sustainable educational initiatives, as the company believes that education is a powerful catalyst for empowering future generations. Our investment in Didimika Private School extends beyond the donation of a physical structure; it represents NamPower’s dedication to enhancing the quality of education and restoring dignity within the school community. In this spirit, NamPower will continue to support government efforts to improve educational infrastructure across the country.
