Summary	NamPower (Pty) Ltd hereby invites qualified, competent, and registered companies to submit their Bid for the construction of Obib-Oranjemund 400kV Interconnector Transmission Line A pre-bid site investigation (compulsory) will be scheduled for all Bidders meeting. Bidders should take note of the following requirements regarding the compulsory pre-bid site investigation: Bidders should register their intent to attend the pre-bid site investigation and submit the full names of proposed attendants within 14 (FOURTEEN) days after advertisement date of the bid. This information shall be provided to the address indicated above. Bidders shall be responsible to obtain a current Certificate of Conduct issued in the name of the attendant(s) by the Namibian Police Force within 14 (FOURTEEN) days after advertisement date of the bid. Bidders shall obtain a permit from Ministry of Environment and Tourism to enter the Tsau //Khaeb National Park NamPower shall arrange for the necessary clearance(s) and induction for attendants listed by the Bidder(s) with relevant mining authorities Bidders are responsible for their own transport and accommodation for the site meeting. Bidders shall provide their representatives with suitable 4wd vehicles and allow for suitable facilities to camp along the line route for at least TWO (2) nights. Bidders should note that NO water and food are available along the line route. The proposed date for the pre-bid site investigation is indicated as 12 – 14 June 2023. Arrangements for the pre-bid meeting shall be shared with relevant bidders indicating their intent to attend the meeting.
