wish to pursue studies at a University or Technikon in the following career fields:
UNDERGRADUATE BURSARIES:
Ø
DEGREE IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Ø
DEGREE IN MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING
Ø
DEGREE IN POWER ENGINEERING
Ø
DEGREE IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
Ø
DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
Ø
DEGREE IN EDUCATION (MAJORING IN MATHS & SCIENCE)
Ø
DEGREE IN MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING (Specializing in Management Accounting)
POST-GRADUATE BURSARIES:
Ø
Masters of Science in ENGINEERING (with a motivation within the interest
of NamPower advantage will be given to racially disadvantaged candidates
).
Ø
Honours or Masters of Science in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Audit.
Ø
Masters of Science in Renewable & Sustainable Resources
BURSARIES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Empowerment Programs:
In addition, NamPower also invites applications from PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES to take part
in its empowerment program which provides short skill courses (3 to 12 months) in the following fields:

COMPUTERS

ELIGIBILITY
FOR A NAMPOWER BURSARY IS DEPENDENT ON:
Ø
Proof of Namibian Citizenship
Ø
One passport photograph
Ø
Certified copies of Grade 10 end of the year results
Ø
Certified copies of Grade 12 April and August results
Ø
Academic progress report, if already a student at a University or Technikon
Ø
Proof of provisional acceptance from a University or Technikon
NB: Applications for study fields other than the
ones mentioned above,
will NOT be considered.
Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for interviews.
The decision of the NamPower Bursary Committee as endorsed by the Managing
Director is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
